Managing for Sustainability
Alcan's commitment to sustainability is an ongoing focus at the highest levels of the Company. In accordance with the provisions of the Canada Business Corporations Act (Alcan's corporate headquarters is in Montreal, Canada), Alcan's Board of Directors ensures that the Company is managed in the interest of its shareholders as a whole, while taking into account the interests of other stakeholders. This includes the consideration of sustainability in all investment decisions.
