Sustainability involves much more than just the environmental
compatibility of a product. Instead, a broad range of sustainability
aspects must be taken into account over the entire life cycle
of the product, such as social impacts and long-term impacts
on resource availability, climate change and consumer behaviour,
which can be triggered indirectly by the use of the product.
