| One example of Alcan's community involvement is in Canada
where the Company participates in the Imagine Program of the Canadian Centre
for Philanthropy. Under Imagine, Alcan has committed to contribute at least
1% of pre-tax Canadian profits in the form of donations and sponsorships
within Canada. The above chart illustrates how Alcan's participation significantly
