Welcome to Alcan's 2007 Sustainability Report

With this release of our sixth Corporate Sustainability Report we see further proof that the sustainability message is now an integral part of everything we do at Alcan, from strategy development at the executive level to improvements initiated by our operating teams around the globe. 

Our progress towards eliminating or minimizing greenhouse gas emissions associated with climate change is a good example as it can be directly linked to corporate policy as well as to the increasingly high engagement level of our employees to continuous improvement and Alcan’s long-term sustainability.

We view sustainability as an enormous opportunity to reinforce our competitive edge as we see the evidence of added value for all Alcan stakeholders through our product applications and long-term community presence.
