Environmental releases represent a significant challenge at Alcan, especially with respect to the wide variety of air, land and water impacts from its diverse industrial activities.
Through rigorous application of its EHS FIRST management system, Alcan actively addresses these challenges by requiring all sites to have a program in place for the management of environmental releases. The overarching goal is to protect and promote the environment, the health and safety of all employees and the communities in which we operate.
